3 days from Fez to Marrakech via desert
Day 1: Fez – Ifrane – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
We pick you up at your accommodation in Fez and leave for the desert of Merzouga. We cross the city of Ifrane and Azrou through the cedar forest where you will have the opportunity to see the monkeys in the forest. then we continue to Midelt where you will have your lunch. Then we continue to Erfoud crossing the Ziz Valley. We will have a small visit to the fossil museum and then our journey will take us to the desert of Merzouga! Here you will spend the night in a hotel facing the dunes with dinner.
Day 2: Visit of Merzouga Khamlia Erg chebbi
After breakfast we will visit the desert landscape of Merzouga, we will visit the nomads in their tents to discover the nomadic life. Then we return to the village of Khamlia to discover the music of the Gnaoua. You will enjoy a good Berber pizza, then you will start your adventure in the Erg Chebbi dunes. You ride a camel to reach the high dunes of Morocco, enjoy a magical sunset over the dunes, have dinner around the campfire, sleep under the starry sky of the Sahara.
Day 3: Erg chebbi – todra gorges – Boumalne – Skoura – Ait ben haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast, we leave Sahara toward Todra gorges, then we continue to Boumalne Dades where we will have a photo stop from there we will follow the road dotted with Kasbahs, all different. We will head towards the road of the Thousand Kasbahs, the Valley of Roses, the large palm grove of Skoura. Arrival in Ouarzazate, visit of the Kasbah of Taourirt, which was the former residence of the Glaoui or Pasha of Marrakech. Lunch on site. We leave via the Tizi N’Tichka pass with stops to enjoy the spectacular views it offers. Arrival in Marrakech around 5:00 p.m. Transfer to the hotel and end of our services.
