ITINERARY:
Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen – Fes
Departure from Tangier to Chefchaouen, we will cross the city of Tetoun and the Rif mountains. Enjoy the beautiful mountains until arriving in Chefchaouan. The medina of Chefchaouen had a Spanish-style square surrounded by artisanal and artisanal shops, restaurants and upscale cafes. we will visit the blue city. We will spend the night in the traditional Moroccan Riad. With dinner and breakfast.
Day 2: Explore Fes
After breakfast, we continue to Fez. we explore the medina of Fes: visit the University of Al Karaouine, the oldest operating university in the world. Your guided tour will take you to the Moulay Idriss mausoleum, the Nejjarine fountains and the dens. you will have a panoramic view of the city at the end of the visit. Dinner and overnight in a beautiful Moroccan Riad.
Day 3: Fes – Midelt – Rissani – Desert Merzouga and camel ride
After breakfast, we will start our Voyager through Ifran and Azrou then in Midelt where we will have our Lunch, at midday we cross the Tizi Ntalghamt Pass and along the magnificent Ziz gorge carved in volcanic rock, you will see views of the high Atlas plateau and the changing landscape to reveal indications of the desert when you approach the town of Errachidia. We will continue our journey through the Ziz valley to Erfoud, Rissani and Merzouga at the end of the day, you will be greeted with a glass of mint tea and climb your camel to see the sunset in the sand dunes the higher in Morocco And spend the night there. Overnight in our desert camp where you can dine.
Day 4: Merzouga Desert – Todar Gorges – Dades-Ouarzazate Valley
Your camel guide will wake you up early in the morning to watch what could be the best sunrise of your life. You will walk peacefully in the village of Merzouga. En route, you won’t be able to appreciate the unique beauty of Erg Chebbi’s spectacular sand dunes – changing the light as the day progresses. After breakfast and hot shower, you will leave for the Rissani, Tinghir and Todra gorges – the tallest and narrowest gorges in Morocco and after lunch in the heart of the gorges, we will continue in the Dades valley and La Valley of the Roses and Will arrive in Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa). Accommodation will be in a traditional chic guest house with dinner and breakfast.
Day 5: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Marrakech
After breakfast in your riad, we will drive to the famous kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the largest Kasbah in Morocco. After crossing this UNESCO historic site, we will continue our journey through the majestic passage of Tizi ‘n’ tichka (2260 m) on the High Atlas Mountains. We will have time to stop and enjoy some impressive views and visit the argan oil cooperative. At the top of the mountain. We arrive in Marrakech at the end of the afternoon and have time to explore the famous square (jamaa lafna) and overnight in the traditional riad in the medina.
